As a personal design interest, I am keen on the idea of designing experimental, system-driven games that may engage players in more emergent and expressive gameplay rather than scripted pathways, ranging from competitive experiences to complex social simulations.
Because of my enthusiasm in Game Studies, I’ve been both a game design lecturer and a game design mentor within organizations. I strongly believe in improving the academia-industry relationship by establishing a solid feedback loop between both fields, developing game design theory and methods further as a direct consequence.
