My main focus as a game designer is taking game mechanics that are not violence-oriented a step forward, trying to find new game loops and structures that are innovative and based on other metaphors and themes yet not explored.
I am fascinated by the idea of creating systemic games that may engage players from unconventional backgrounds, with emphasis on social simulations and emergent narratives.
As a Game Studies enthusiast, I believe in the academia-industry relationship and how it can develop game design theory and methods further. That’s why I lean towards being both a lecturer and a developer at the same time.
