My grandma Nines
Was born in 1924 in Asturias. In 2024, we celebrated her 100th birthday. We made a huge party for her at a family restaurant, surrounded by her children, grand-children and grand-grand-children. We sold our grandparents’ home in 2023 as my grandma enter a retirement home, and some of the furniture still remains in my parents’ house porch.
This photoshoot, apart from being a cute memory, makes me think of the inevitable pass of time, about resignifying physical things and how life means change, whether we don’t fancy it at all.
