I started learning how to mix on my own slightly before the COVID-19 pandemic. This led me to create a Twitch channel in which I streamed weekly my sessions, up until I could go outside and mix physically in other spaces.
Most of my improv DJ sessions have taken place in friends’ parties, doing back-2-back with other people or solo.
I also partook two courses from the Sin Sync School, one being introductory on how to mix on vinyl, classic CDJs and modern CDJs and another one on to how to find your style and create your first conceptual mixtape.
